Hello again for another installment of the Art Challenge Projects. We're back after the two-week break to bring you more cool artwork and music.
During the break, we, with our brother, Aaron, visited Arizona and stayed at a little cabin up on a mountain. Every day of driving allowed us to see the couple peaks on the horizon as they grew on the way back to the cabin. This scene inspired the idea of a mountain at dawn as the fog begins to dissipate with the morning warmth.
When creating the music for this week, there were a lot of competing thoughts running through my head, including some distractions from normal life. My main source of sound inspiration started from The Hobbit movie soundtracks by Howard Shore (yep, Misty Mountains). The different sections of the piece are to cover sections of a journey one would take through the mountains as the day begins.
